BioBlitz: Spring Tree ID with Mpls Parks & Rec

About This Event

Join Maria Wesserle of Four Season Foraging for a walk through and around the bog as we learn to identify trees in spring using twigs, buds, bark, and tree shape.

Geared towards adults, but open to interested learners of all ages.

What is a BioBlitz?

These volunteer community science events bring people together to discover and identify as many species as possible at a specific location and over a defined time period. BioBlitzes are a fun way to collect valuable data and a collaborative effort among local scientists, naturalists, park lovers, park staff, and partner organizations.

Come out and volunteer at a BioBlitz event and explore the biodiversity in your local parks!

Please note that this event does not involve foraging. It is focused on tree identification.
